Crosslens clusters trending news by event and shows how different countries and cultures frame the same story. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: no account, no tracking, no ads, and nothing personal leaves your device.
Crosslens does not require you to sign up or log in. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or any other personal identifier.
On first launch the app creates and stores, locally on your device only:
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us in this version of the app. Deleting the app removes it.
When the app loads stories it requests content from our server
(crosslens.ddns.net). As with any internet service, our server may
briefly log standard technical information — such as IP address, the time of the
request, and which content was requested — to operate, secure, and debug the
service. We do not use this information to identify or profile you, and we do not
combine it with any other data.
Crosslens contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
Every story links to its original publisher. Opening a headline takes you to a third-party website that is governed by its own privacy policy; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Crosslens is a general-audience news app and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
